The York County Coroner’s office was called to 200 Masonic Drive York, Manchester Township at 9:17 a.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023, according to emergency dispatch.
"A woman who said she was walking in the 200 block of Masonic Drive, Manchester Township, when she saw a man lying in the grass and grew concerned," York Emergency Management Public Information Officer Ted Czech told Daily Voice.
The man was found on the grounds of the hotel, according to Czech.
Around 4:30 p.m. the York County Coroner's office released the following statement, reading in part:
"The man in his 50s found deceased outside today in the area of the 200 block of Masonic Drive (Manchester Twp.), died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound."
Northern York County Regional Police Department is leading the investigation.
